I was recently asked this question after I shared my Instagram page with someone, which made me pause and think. I know what my book is about, after all I've been writing it for nearly three years. During that time, I've changed jobs twice, had a baby and done millions of other things that I certainly don't remember. Writing is something I've been doing for a while and I'm now ready to share my work with the world. The blurb of my book:
Emily Manther is lost in a world of lost souls. Raised in an orphanage by strangers and bullied at school, she doesn’t have any hope for the future until she confronts her bully, John Mills. But did John mean to destroy her or is he acting under an external influence? These are strange times with rumours of war, mayhem and terror. Emily doesn’t have all the answers, but there is one thing she knows for sure. She is irrevocably attracted to John, even against her own will.
Does it tell you what the story is about? It probably gives you a fairly good idea but not the plot summary. Now I'm not going to reveal the twists and turns of the story and spoil it for everybody else. For that, you'll have to read the book, but stay tuned because I'll be sharing comments and reviews from advance reader groups and reviewers before the launch date on 26th October 2020. Ultimately its a story about forgiveness and finding redemption.
